REQUIRED FOR ALL NEW PATIENTS: The Report of Findings office visit is the most significant and necessary patient communications meeting. It is critical to organize a plan of treatment based on one's diagnostic findings, make these findings tangible, establish the patient's role and responsibility in their care, educate spouse's and family members into supportive roles, establish payment parameters, and secure agreement to proceed with a treatment program. Trigger point is a sensitive area in the muscle or connective tissue (fascia) that becomes painful when compressed. The word myofascial means muscle tissue (myo) and the connective tissue in and around it (fascia). Myofascial pain often results from muscle injury or repetitive strain. When stressed or injured, muscles often form trigger points, like contracted knots, that cause pain and tightness. Pressing on a trigger point can cause referred pain and can help identify the external area in the body generating the pain. ($45)

ALCAT Food Sensitivity Test

Food allergy is an IgE immune system response that is typically characterized by hives, shortness of breath, upset stomach and in some cases anaphylaxis.
